Detect The Impact

If it is detected as a crash, the ECU will transmit signals that are connected to the seat belt to trigger a gas emitting system called pre-tensioners.

The Pre-tensioners Work

The pre-tensioners reduce the slack between the belts and the passengers within the next 0.02 seconds by drawing back the webbing of the seat belt. This action would prohibit passengers from retracting the webbing of the seat belt. How do you guess the seatbelt works with this detail? Inside the seat belt system, the slack is associated and this slack will improve the passenger safety feature when withdrawn. The Load Limiter Goes Into Action
