This is a fundamental skill every car owner or user, as the case my be, should have as well, aside driving itself. It is not so much of a repair or maintenance skill but you wouldn't want to be stranded whenever your car won't start. It's also pretty easy to do.

Car batteries are not designed to last forever as they wear out gradually. Learning how to change your car battery is an important DIY (Do It Yourself) skill everyone should have, as it will save you maintenance cost.
